Broadmeadows Town Hall commission with artist Robbie Rowlands and Kerstin Thompson Architects.

Experienced public artist Robbie Rowlands is working with KTA on a commission for the new Broadmeadows Town Hall building. Referencing the now largely demolished building from the 1940s, Robbie Rowland’s work Crossing the Floor will be suspended in the void of the new entry space. The piece is designed to address the rich history of industry, labour and community in the locale, now home to one of the most culturally diverse populations in Victoria. The project is due for completion in August 2019.
